The International Pole Federation™ has been established to maintain quality and to set up networks of communication amongst dancers, teachers and schools globally.
It is governed by a board of dancers from around the world, including some of the world's best, and so will be run based on input from many.
The Launch on September 21 was the first opportunity of its kind - not only to meet some of the best pole dancers from all around the country, but to mix with people from the industry in Australia in a neutral setting. All Australian pole dancing schools were invited, as well as some of Australia's stars of pole dancing, and there will were live pole performances all night.
The Sun Herald ran an article about the launch on September 24 - see the Media page for more details.
This is the most exciting and revolutionary phenomenon to hit the pole dancing industry ever!
This is a global federation, and thus a global launch, and similar events will be held all over the world. South Africa and Canada ran their launches on the same night, and launches in the USA, UK, Netherlands, Belgium and Singapore will soon follow.
See the IPF Australia site at www.polefederation.com/australia for more details, including how you can become a member of the IPF and have instant access to a members-only section of the IPF site, including an international forum, a Catalogue of Moves.
