Pole For A Purpose is Florida’s largest annual pole fitness showcase to benefit charity. Here’s a little more from the organization:
Our mission is to celebrate the art and sport of Pole Dance fitness through an annual non-competitive showcase featuring performers who want to share their passion on stage. We seek to create a show that is entertaining, impressive, and respected among our Pole Dance community and the general population in order to elevate Pole Dance as a fitness and art form. This allows us to donate the proceeds from the showcase to a charity that supports the empowerment of women.
Each year we donate event proceeds to an organization that specifically helps women in need, whether recovering from domestic violence, homelessness, sexual assault, or another trying circumstance. We believe our strength and confidence gained through the positive role pole dance has played in our lives should be used to give back to those who are less fortunate.
Jamilla will also be teaching three special workshops on Sunday August 16th at Impulse Pole Dance:
Dance It Out – 12.30-1.30pm
Signature Moves – 2-3.30pm
Go With the Flow PLUS Extend Yourself Stretch (30mins) – 4-5.30pm
